One fall afternoon, while driving home, a magpie flew across Chena Hot Springs Rd in front of me. A momentary glimpse of blue black with a flash of white, then I blinked and we continued on our separate ways. I wondered at how it was even possible to see one up here after the first snow of the year.

Neither sculpture nor metalsmithing are my full-time jam, so it's a gift to find time to fit them into the day. Even though I'm slow, I enjoy custom orders because they take me in directions I may not have tried otherwise.

The gallery will be open until 7pm. Reception from 5-7pm.
