Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Your satisfaction is incredibly important to me. If you are not entirely pleased with your purchase, or if there was an error on my part, please reach out directly. I will work with you to resolve any concerns and find a satisfactory solution.

Please note that because every piece is individually handcrafted, slight variations in texture, patina, and the natural characteristics of the materials—such as copper, sterling silver, and stones like turquoise—are to be expected. These unique differences are the hallmark of artisan metalwork and are not considered defects.

Please carefully review the size, measurement, and material information included with each item before purchasing. If you have any questions about a piece, I am always happy to answer them!

Standard Returns

My return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, I unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be securely packed in packaging comparable to the original to protect the metalwork and stones from the rigors of USPS transit.

Custom Work

Due to the highly personalized nature of custom pieces, these items are final sale and not eligible for return. I make every effort to collaborate closely with you during the design process, and I will always share images of the finished custom work for your feedback and approval well before shipping.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediately and include clear photos of the packaging and the damaged piece. I will use these photos to submit an insurance claim and will keep you updated throughout the process. If necessary, I will provide a return shipping label so the item can be repaired or replaced.

Exchanges

I only replace items if they are defective or damaged during shipment. Because each piece is handcrafted, direct exchanges for the exact same item may not always be possible. If you need to discuss an exchange, please email me at farnorthdrygoods@gmail.com.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to let you know it has arrived safely and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Sale Items:

Sale items are eligible for returns, but will be refunded at the discounted price paid at the time of purchase.

Late or Missing Refunds:

Processing times can vary between banks. If you haven’t received an approved refund yet, please double-check your bank account, contact your credit card company, and then reach out to your bank. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your funds, please contact me.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser’s payment method.

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning an item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and if you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your total.

If you are returning a higher-value item, I highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as I cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
