Copper Cake Server
This cake server is hand-pierced and formed from heavy, reclaimed copper pipe and copper wire. The handle is riveted with brass.
The patterns on these cake servers are inspired by patterns I remember seeing as a child when my mom introduced me to pysanka egg decorating. My great grandmother was from the Ukraine on my mother’s side, and having early exposure to this part of my heritage created great interest in early folk art decoration for me. I’m so drawn to the stylized flowers and animals.
